A story from one of our customers

Our senior lady Bella has always had a mind of her own. At thirteen years old she still acts like a queen, except her legs do not always agree with her confidence. Long walks are no longer an option, and her twice daily medication needs to stay consistent. Every Tuesday is our longest workday of the week, and we always felt a bit uneasy knowing she would be alone for so many hours.

HappyPet stepped in with a warmth that felt almost familiar. The recurring pop in visits became a quiet anchor in Bella’s week. A gentle potty break, a slow wander in the sun, medication taken without any fuss and a picture of Bella looking like she owned the entire neighbourhood. It made us smile every single time.

That one moment of company in the middle of her long day makes everything easier. Bella stays settled, we stay focused at work and Tuesdays no longer feel like a scramble to rush home. It is a simple visit, but it brings a calm kind of routine that works for all of us. Knowing someone trustworthy was checking on her felt exactly like having a dogsitter-style helping hand without the need for full-time pet sitting.

A little visit that makes a big difference.

Because your dog should never feel alone.

We also serve the wider Costa Blanca South region, including Torrevieja, Los Balcones, Lago Jardín, San Miguel de Salinas, Pilar de la Horadada, Torre de la Horadada, Mil Palmeras, El Mojón, San Pedro del Pinatar ,Lo Pagán, Los Montesinos and Guardamar.

How long is a pop-in visit?

Each visit lasts around twenty minutes and can be extended on request if your dog needs a little more time or care.

Is a pop-in visit enough for energetic dogs?

For many dogs yes, especially if they only need a quick break. For more active dogs you can combine a pop in visit with a longer walk.

Can you visit my dog if I am away for only a few hours?

Yes. Pop in visits are perfect for short absences. We let your dog out, give fresh air, offer a short walk and provide calm attention.

Can you help with older dogs who move slowly?

Absolutely. We adjust the visit to your dog’s abilities with gentle walking or simple fresh air time if mobility is limited.

What if my dog needs medication during the day?

We safely administer oral medication, eye drops or simple treatments exactly as instructed.

How do you access my home for pop in visits?

You can give us a key, a gate code or use a secure lockbox. Keys are coded, never labelled with your address and stored securely. If you have an alarm system, gate code or apartment access instructions, we follow them exactly as given. Many customers prefer keyless access through a lockbox, which works perfectly for holiday visitors and rentals.

Is a pop-in visit the same as having a dogsitter?

A pop-in visit gives your dog short, attentive care at home without needing a full-time dogsitter. It covers fresh air, a quick break, feeding, medication if needed and a moment of attention. If your dog needs longer company or more time outside, you can combine a pop-in visit with a walk.

Do you always send the same person to my dog?

Yes. Your dog sees the same familiar visitor which builds trust, routine and calm behaviour.

Can you help with small tasks around the house while I’m away?

Yes. If you’re travelling or out for the day, we can bring in post, water plants, adjust blinds, refresh water bowls and check windows. These small tasks are helpful for homeowners, expats and holiday renters who want peace of mind while the house is empty.
